Happy Mothers Day
This week may be Teacher Appreciation Week, but our gratitude for our teachers and support staff goes far beyond just one week. Thank you for the heart, time, care, and commitment you give to our students every day. The impact you make in the lives of children is something truly special, and we are thankful for each of you.

2026 Senior Spotlight
Thursday, the district continued our Disney appreciation with a "Woody's Snack Box" filled with sweet snacks and treats for our amazing staff. Thank you for the magic you bring to our schools each day.
We would like to thank Mrs. Amy Dooley for her three years of service to the OCHS SBDM Council as a parent representative, helping the council make decisions for the betterment of our students and school.

Our Joint Leadership Team met tonight to analyze the progress made on our school and district Wildly Important Goals that were established for this school year.
The Owsley County district admin team continued our Disney-themed appreciation week today with sweet Dole Whip treats for the staff who bring magic to our schools each day.

OCHS middle and high school students had a KSA Pep Rally today ahead of the testing window. Students enjoyed some cookies and punch, karaoke, and student vs. staff art, music, and volleyball competitions. We are proud of our students and are confident in their success in the coming days on the KSAs! Let's Go, Owls!
The Kentucky Summative Assessment (KSA) will begin tomorrow, May 6th at both OCES and OCMHS. Let’s work together to help our students finish the year strong!
