Our high school cheer squad is headed to the KAPOS State Competition on Friday, December 12. We were proud to recognize these outstanding student athletes at tonight’s Board of Education meeting. As our team prepares for state, we would love to see our community join in the excitement. Local businesses are encouraged to decorate this week and help us show our athletes just how much Owsley County is cheering them on. Let’s fill the town with school spirit. Go Owls!

Winter MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) testing begins this week, starting December 8.

Please help your student be ready to do their best by making sure they get plenty of rest, eat a good breakfast, arrive on time, and have their Chromebook fully charged. Consistent attendance during testing is so important.

These assessments give us valuable information to guide instruction, plan support, and make decisions that help every student grow. We appreciate your partnership.
