Due to recent winter weather and missed school days, the Owsley County Board of Education has approved a calendar amendment.
➡️ February 16 will be a regular instructional day for students.
➡️ March 9 will be a regular instructional day for students.
At this time, the tentative last day of school for students is May 20, 2026.

There will be school in Owsley County on Wednesday, February 11th. Some buses will be running on a modified plan. A list of roads that will not be traveled will be posted to the Owsley County School District webpage and social media page. We look forward to seeing all of our students in the morning.

NTI Day Meals - 2/10/26: (Tuesday)
Owsley County Schools have been approved to provide meals on NTI days through the National School Lunch Program. Meals will be prepared at Owsley County High School. They may be picked up at the rear of the school using the kitchen door between 11:00am - 1:00pm. Please complete the meal sign up or call (606) 593 -6363 ext. 439. Phone orders can be placed between 8:30am - 10:00am on the day NTI meals are available. All orders should be submitted by 10:00am on the day of pick-up to allow Food Service Staff time to prepare the meals. Please use extreme caution and watch for ice upon entering and exiting the school grounds.
