Students at OCES enjoy the Spring weather on the new Inclusive Playground!

Mrs. Begley, with Mrs. Miske of 4-H, brought a hands on lab experience to explore how vision works. Students dissected a cow eye to learn the parts of eye structure. 👁️ Mrs. Mc was so interested, she joined, too!

It may be warming up outside but 2nd Grade Science with Mrs. Smith has been working with snowmen! ⛄️

Sixty-three future Owl ballers showed up to our first Bitty League practice tonight! Looking forward to the future of basketball in Booneville!

4th Grade students in Mrs. Begley's room, along with Mrs. Miske the 4-H Agent, dissected owl pellets. Pellets are a record of what owls have eaten, and scientists can study them to learn more about the owl and the ecosystems in which they live. When kids dissect owl pellets, they can see and identify the tiny bones from that owl's meal, can learn about the owl's diet and place in the food web.
Big News!

It's been a great and busy week at OCMHS!
