Due to forecasted inclement weather, Owsley County Schools will be dismissing around 12:30.
Our 8th grade OCMS Owls hit the court early and earned a hard-fought win against a competitive Betsy Lane team. Great effort and teamwork from our student-athletes!

Reminder of Open House today at OCHS from 3-5 pm. Our teachers look forward to meeting with parents/caregivers about our students! Parents who attend will get a ticket for free admission to Maroon & White Night!

Finished and ready for winter! Shout-out to Mrs. Sandlin’s and Mrs. Taylor’s classrooms, Erica Mason, and Rory Mason for the beautiful work on our snow plow. Watch for it rolling through our community.

Mrs. Bridges' kindergarten students absolutely shined in Math today! They used linking cubes to explore how addition patterns grow, and it was incredible to see those “lightbulb moments” happening all around the room. Everyone was hands-on, engaged, and excited to build their understanding of addition through patterns.

Our 5/6th and 7/8th OCMS Owls defended the Palace tonight with their second district win over the Lee County Bobcats! Go Owls!

FYI

Mrs. Wolfe's 1st graders were busy today building words, solving math problems, and showing off their growing skills! From magnetic letters to whiteboard math and online practice, these students are learning in all kinds of fun, hands-on ways.
