Our middle and high school math teachers are diving back into their curriculum with a focus on how to better assess student understanding and meet individual learning needs. We’re excited to see the impact this will have in classrooms!

The middle and high school ELA teachers spent today learning more about the updated myPerspectives curriculum to better serve our students.

The district joint leadership team met today to kick off back-to-school preparations by identifying each school’s short- and long-term priorities and creating WIGs (Wildly Important Goals) to support student success.

OCHS Boys Basketball is hosting a Back-to-School 3-on-3 League for boys entering grades 2–4. See flyer for details on sign-ups, dates, and cost. Don’t miss it!

Dear Families, We are excited to announce that we adopted a new form of school-to-home communication at Owsley County School District called ParentSquare. This unified communications platform is designed to keep parents/guardians and students informed and encourage greater engagement and connection with our schools. It provides a safe way for district administrators, school principals, teachers, staff, students, and parents to communicate. School, grade level and classroom information will now be sent to your computer or phone via email and/or text. For even more convenience, download the ParentSquare app (available for free for iOS and Android devices). Your login will be the email or phone number you have on file with your child's school. Students can log in using their school Google account. If you're unsure what contact information is on file or need to update it, please contact the school.
