Parents - OCES will be sending home progress reports with your child on September 14th. These will include current grades and MAP scores. If your student does not bring one home, please contact the office. Parent meetings will start being scheduled September 21st.

OCMS/HS students enjoyed the traditional Fair Competition Events yesterday at school. Here are pictures of the winners, along with the list. Special thanks to staff who helped facilitate the events!










Today, 6th-12th students attended an assembly on "Rachel's Challenge", a program designed to promote kindness and service to others. Over 70 students have already expressed interested in creating a "FOR" school club. Special thanks to presenter, Michelle Gibson.

5th graders putting cooperative learning into practice by working with shoulder partners to locate relevant text evidence.




2nd grade students were to construct a balloon globe, labeling the 7 continents. Students are working to identify the continents from largest to smallest as well as identifying the 5 major oceans.

Bible Release Time is Back!

News from 4th & 5th


4th and 5th grade students turned in a variety of projects for their first unit in math. These projects include creating stadiums and buildings to presenting information about animal bones and manatees. Each project had a math component to it. Our students knocked these projects out of the park!
