There will be NO summer meal service on Monday, July 3rd or Tuesday, July 4th. Meal service will resume regular delivery on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. Happy 4th of July!
Kids Market Day at the Owsley County Farmers Market with Owsley County Elementary students and staff. Owsley County FFA members volunteered to help take kids around the market and visit vendors.




Come out and see what OCES students have been working on this summer!

The past three days, 22 student athletes from OCES trekked to Morehead State University for basketball camp. We are excited to see their new skills put to work this season! #alwaysanowl



Students - Summer reading has it rewards!

Owsley County Schools Exceptional Children STEAM Camp provided by KVEC Holler Boys. Students were able to use clay, paint, engineering actives, & virtual reality!



Social Studies Teachers at OCES participate in professional learning provided by Kim Sargent, KVEC.

3rd -5th grade students took a historical trip around Owsley today. They visited the Abe Lincoln rock on Island Creek, Faith Hill (the first and only hospital in our county) at Buffalo and Sag Hollow Golf Course.







We are here at OCES and ready to register for Kindergarten and new students!

The Owsley County Board of Education regular scheduled board meeting Tuesday, July 11th, 2023 has been rescheduled to Tuesday, July 18th, at 6:00 PM in the Central Office Board Room.
OCMHS Science and Social Studies teachers collaborate with KVEC as they prepare for the upcoming school year!
