The Owsley County School District held its first joint leadership meeting for the 2024-2025 school year. District and school administrators along with teacher leaders collaborated to develop a shared understanding of the district's new vision, mission, and core beliefs.

The Owsley County School District is saddened to hear of the passing of former teacher and Owsley County High School Principal, Mr. Dale Callahan.
Along with being an educator, Mr. Callahan was a successful businessman and cattle farmer in Owsley and the surrounding counties.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this time.
