This week's incredible Owls are Ms. Linda Hall, Ms. Shana Marshall, Mrs. Abby Gabbard, and Mrs. Eugena Price.

Daniel Burns, Weston Hoskins and Chesnie Smith are the first members of the Dojo 25 Point Club! Thank you for being Outstanding Owls!

Mrs. Gilbert's class enjoyed a mini glow party because of perfect attendance three days this week!

Over the last two weeks, 1st grade students have heard stories from a pediatrician named Dr. Wellbody, who told them about their body systems, the different organs that are part of the body, and the jobs they do.
Students learned healthy habits and how to care for their bodies by focusing on the five keys to good health. They have also been introduced to Edward Jenner and Louis Pasteur, whose discoveries aided in the cure of diseases. Throughout the domain, students explored information writing and learned to identify important information in their read-aloud.
They worked as a class on taking notes about what they read and wrote about the five body systems: Skeletal, Muscular, Nervous, Digestive, and Circulatory.
Medical school is now complete. Take a look at your new Doctors.

Ain't no party like an attendance Glow Party! 4th grade celebrated their win today!

Congrats to our Lady Owls on their wins over Lee County 5/6 and then again over Lee 7/8 Team. OCES lost by 3 but put on a great show and is growing every game. #proudtobeanowl

Today at OCHS, the Beta Club led a blood drive in partnership with the KY Blood Center, securing enough blood donations to save 36 lives! Thank you, donors!

Student's in 3rd - 5th grade enjoyed an assembly from Rachel’s Challenge. The program addresses the root causes of school violence, bullying, prejudice, and self-harm through student wellness programs that build connection, hope and resilience. They work to improve culture so that students are able to reach their full potential academically, socially and emotionally. Thank you to PRI & Mrs. Felecia Pittman for bringing these assemblies to us!
