OCHS juniors, seniors, and parents are invited to an evening with KHEAA and KCTCS representatives (see attached flyers). After grabbing food and learning about important KHEAA updates, juniors and seniors (and their parents) will be divided into separate rooms to learn about grade-specific planning information.
Seniors will be assisted in creating an FSA ID for themselves and any parents who do not already have one (see the flyer for info on what you'll need to bring). The upcoming FAFSA is unlike any other FAFSA in the past. The application has undergone a complete “remodel.” Those in attendance will learn about the important changes in format and definition.
Juniors will begin planning for their upcoming senior year. Mrs. Vanessa Johnson will relay important information about dual credit, scholarships, work-study, and more. A representative from KCTCS will share more about opportunities for both career-focused and college-focused students.
