Enjoyed Green Day at OCHS as we celebrated our students and green school rating. We recognized over 175 OCMS/HS students who scored a proficient or distinguished or no novices on KY Summative Assessments back in May. We gave away over 20 prizes and had a great time listening to the Rookies perform. Back to maroon tomorrow!

A reminder for our OCHS staff and students to wear Green tomorrow to celebrate OCHS’s rating with the Kentucky Dept. of Ed. Also, we will be having an Academic Pep Rally for all students tomorrow afternoon to celebrate 6th-12th students who earned proficient or distinguished scores on May 2022 KSA testing. OCHS student band, the The Rookies, will be performing some songs for our students as well!

The Owls have been practicing 3 weeks strong and I see a different team since October 15. Our teams attitude has completely changed. The boys are staying positive on and off the court. I have seen a change in these young men. Still got a ways to go but having a great start!
