OCMS Owls had a great outing at the People's Bank Classic at West Perry Elementary and came up just a little short and fought valiantly until the end in the championship game against a talented East Perry team and finishing runner-up. Andrew Terry led the way with his stellar performance for the Owls with 23 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 steals, and a block on the night. The next leading scorer for the Owls was Jordan McCoy with 12 points and the leading rebounder was Matthew Wright with 8 rebounds. We are proud of the boys as they grow each and every game and come together more and more as a team.

Today at OCHS, we gathered all students and staff in the gym to recognize individual middle and high school students for their outstanding performance on the KY Summative Assessments back in May. We awarded certificates for those who tested proficient or distinguished on an individual or multiple assessments and/or those who scored no novices on any of their KSAs. We will get certificates to those awarded who were absent today. Great job, Owls!

Today, OCHS students had fun with Remix Education while learning about making good choices in tough situations. Thanks to GEAR UP for making this great lesson possible!
