Marcum led the Lady Owls to a 51-41 win over the Jackson County Lady Generals in the PRTC Classic. Marcum finished with 22 points, 16 rebounds, and 4 blocks.

Mrs. McCoy's 8th grade math students have been working together to solve multi-step equations while Mrs. Barrett's 6th grade reading students worked on an informational reading performance task, creating origami.

OCHS middle and high school students and staff enjoyed Yellow and Green Celebrations this afternoon for recent improvements in KDE Accountability. Students were treated to snacks as well as a glow dance party, gym activities and karaoke! It was a great day to be an Owl! Great job OCHS students and staff and thank you for your hard work!

Congratulations to OCHS students and staff on the recent 2024-25 accountability results! The middle school increased their overall index to remain at a Yellow rating while the high school increased to a Green rating! Great job, Owls, as we continue to pursue our vision for OCHS students and staff--A Parliament of Excellence!









Mr. Parker and the OCHS Pep Band have been working on some Christmas tunes and also preparing for the upcoming basketball season!

Owsley County Athletics is excited to share our upcoming event on December 13th, which will honor the 50th anniversary of our high school gym opening. The Kentucky Sports Hall of Fame will be officially honoring this event and our gym as part of their Glory Road Project.
