The Championship of the 56th District Baseball Tournament is all set to begin tonight at OCHS. The game begins at 6:00 and will be between the Powell County Pirates and the Estill County Engineers. Today, 6th graders had a blast celebrating the end of a great school year with their teachers at Air Raid while the 7th grade enjoyed fishing and outdoor activities at Buckhorn Campground!

Today at OCMHS, our seniors took the special walk at OCES with our kindergartners while our middle school students enjoyed Field Day activities. Also, 9th and 10th students enjoyed class trips with their teachers to celebrate a great school year.

Members of the OCHS Golf Team and Coach Kyle Bobrowski were able to tour the course of Valhalla in Louisville Ky yesterday, and also see some of the world's greatest golfers preparing for this week's PGA Championship.






This morning, our seniors enjoyed a wonderful Senior Breakfast, provided by the Owsley Co. Ministerial Association, in partnership with the Gideons and OCHS FRYSC. Thanks to all who contributed today, and annually, to this special Senior event.

-Kiley Taylor made her debut in the 800m dash!
-Rory Mason got a PR in the 1600.
-Aiden Day: got a PR in the 200m dash and 1600
-Brannon Nolan: got a PR in the shot put and discus
-Justice Nolan: got a PR in the discus
-Sadie Nolan: got a PR in the 100m dash
-Katie Shipman: got a PR in the 100m dash and 200m dash
-Sawyer Renfro: got a PR in the 3200.

OCHS Track and Field Coach, Logan Campbell, wins The Grey Matters 5K in Whitesburg, KY. This is an annual event that helps promote people in need, including cancer patients, and the American Brain Tumor Association. Coach Campbell runs this event annually to help support the cause and remember his late friend, Austin Reed. Congratulations to Logan on this accomplishment and helping support such a worthy cause.

Meet Day at Morgan County!

The OCHS Baseball Team will be having pictures made at 5:00 this evening at the baseball field.
Today our 5th grade students got a chance to tour OCMHS where they will start their journey as 6th graders in the fall. Thanks to our school PRI coordinators, Felecia & Amy, and three of our seniors for conducting the tour.
