Some of our OCHS students and staff "dressed for success" yesterday for GEAR Up week.

The Owsley County Lady Owls Golf Team competed today in the 11th Region Golf Tournament. The tournament was held in Prestonsburg at StoneCrest Golf Course. The Lady Owls battled through the elements after two weather delays. They fell short of their back-to-back regional title defense but did end up finishing in 3rd place. The Lady Owls showed great strides in overall improvement throughout the season and look forward to future seasons ahead.

What's GEAR UP week without some lunchtime STEM activities? OCHS students learned about the process of chromatography and created some awesome tie-dye pieces.
