Second Grade students have been learning all about a democracy. A democracy is a type of government that gives the power to the people. We have power by exercising our right to vote. In a democracy, we all have equal rights under the law. We have the power to speak up about laws we donβt like and vote out leaders we donβt agree with. To wrap up our lesson students voted on weather they liked chocolate chip cookies or Oreos best! πΊπΈπͺ
