Today, 6th-12th students viewed a performance of Charles Dickens' classic, A Christmas Carol, by OCHS Theater. We are very proud of these students and appreciate all of their hard work and preparation. Another public performance of the play is scheduled for tonight @ 6 pm.

Congratulations to Sophia Havicus (5th) and Camille Brewer (3rd) on being named to the All Area 8 First Team by the Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Association.

Dr. Jeannette K. Jones, RCC, is a full professor and Dean of Education at American Intercontinental. University (AIU) and a Stamp and Mixed Media Artist, came and made watercolor wreaths with the 3rd, 4th & 5th grade. Thank you to Mrs. Felecia Pittman, FSCS Coordinator at OCES for making this lesson possible.

Students in Mrs. Begley's class today participated in the Hour of Code. The Hour of Code is an introduction to computer science through fun activities and videos for learners of all skill levels. This year's celebration of both coding and AI is supported by over 400 partners, 20,000 educators, 180 countries, and 58,000 volunteers.

This week at OCHS, blacksmith, Bob Montgomery, held a workshop with the 6th and 7th grade science classes courtesy of FSCS. Each student was able to forge their own coat hook!
