Statement from the Owsley County School District

Happy 4th of July

Our summer school students worked hard this summer to strengthen their reading, writing, and math skills through hands-on, creative learning. As part of their work, they created original stories and artwork inspired by the theme “Our Town, Our Story.” Their projects highlight both academic growth and a deep sense of pride in their community.

Partner with us to display student artwork in your business! Our summer school students have created original artwork based on the theme, "Our Town, Our Story." If you're interested in displaying some of their work in your business, please reach out. We would love to partner with you.

OCHS Varsity Cheer got the opportunity to complete UCA Camp this week. This was a chance for the team to perfect stunts, motions, jumps, learn new material, and most of all bond. We look forward to supporting our Owls and Lady Owls this coming season!
