Today, Coach Finn and the OCMS Academic Team had a great showing at the District Governor's Cup, hosted by Breathitt Co. High School. Some top individual performances were: 2nd Place Science-Jorge Perez, 2nd Place Arts & Humanities-Lyla Spence, and 1st place Arts & Humanities- Jinger Marshall. Our team also won the Sportsmanship Award. Great job, Owls!
We are so grateful for our teachers’ commitment to continuous improvement! Today, they had a productive day analyzing student data to guide next steps, refining standards and curriculum, and reflecting on pacing to enhance instruction. They also shared ideas and learned from one another during engaging EdCamp sessions. Our team is energized and ready to welcome our students back into the building!

Owsley County Schools have been approved to provide meals on NTI days through the National School Lunch Program. Meals will be prepared at Owsley County Elementary School. They may be picked up at the rear of the school using the kitchen door between 12:00pm - 1:00pm.
