Public Announcement: Due to the Extremely low temperatures forecasted for this weekend, if there is anyone needing a warm place to go, The Owsley County Courthouse will be open as a warming area Friday and Saturday.

2022 8th Grade Girls’ Volleyball Champions. Kelli Reed was named MVP, with Karlie Evans and Zoey Thomas named to All-Tournament Team. The Lady Owls defeated Breathitt County in the first match 2-0 and then defeated Lee County 2-1 in the championship. These Lady Owls are now 7-2 on the season.




OCES Cheer brought home some hardware from state KAPOS competition! 3rd place overall in Elementary Small Division.


Our Kindergarten would like to thank the First Baptist Church for our stockings!
