Employers, we invite you to attend Owsley County High School Reverse Job Fair on April 25th from 12-2:30. Our senior students will be displaying their skills & talents and employers will walk through their exhibits.

Owsley Elementary School welcomed Kentucky Author, Nancy Allen, for a book reading and signing. Each student received a personalized copy of "Dear Komodo Dragon" to take home.

Open Gym for Boys and Girls Basketball - this has changed slightly from the previous post. Please read for the correct grade and times.


Today, we wrapped up our 8th Grade Tour of Kentucky. Students toured the Louisville Slugger Factory & Museum and passed by Churchill Downs ahead of the May 6th Kentucky Derby! Lastly, we toured "Ashland", the home of legendary KY politician, the "Great Compromiser", Henry Clay.





Day 2 of 8th Grade Tour of KY History Standards. We had a wonderful visit of My Old Kentucky Home this morning. Also, we toured the birthplace and childhood home place of Abraham Lincoln near Hodgenville--coincidentally on the anniversary of President Lincoln's death in 1865!

Today OCES 4th Graders had a picnic lunch and watched the LCT performance of Anansi the Spider. They even got their books signed by the cast!
