Kevin Dailey, 2024 Kentucky Teacher of the Year, set a goal of interviewing a teacher from every district in Kentucky. His goal was to celebrate those exemplar educators that create incredible classroom environments, are fiercely optimistic about education, and are committed to providing opportunities to their students. We are proud to share that he visited and celebrated Mrs. Bishop and her classroom of students at Owsley Elementary this morning!

Due to decreasing attendance from student illness, there will be No School in Owsley County on Monday February 19th or Tuesday February 20th this will be NTI days 7 and 8.
This break will allow for student recovery and for the custodial staff to deep clean and sanitize our facilities.
