This week at OCMHS!


K- 3 students had an assembly on what it means to be kind to the people around us. Featuring audience participation, interactive challenges, and help from our animated assistant Ed Venture, students embarked on a thrilling adventure on emotional intelligence and relationship skills.

Our talented students in Mrs. Taylor's Floral Design class have been hard at work creating stunning floral arrangements. Not only did they design their own unique pieces, but they also took part in peer critiques using a detailed rubric to provide constructive feedback. It's amazing to see their creativity bloom!

This week's incredible Owls are Mrs. Virginia Harris, Mrs. Chelsi Barrett, Mrs. Alisha Baker, and Mrs. Jenn Barrett!




OCHS Cross Country competed in Berea this morning. A fast course, with a creek, made for a wet race.




OCMHS 6th grade students participated in the Dollars and Sense program today. Students learned about taxes, making spending decisions, opportunity cost, and saving. Thanks to our High School students for participating as vendors.

Family Bake Night was so much fun! We made no bake cookies, read a book about kites and then made our own kites. Students took home a new book for the family to read. Join us again in November!
