Congratulations to the Lady Owls Softball team on a great win last night. The Lady Owls defeated Buckhorn 19-7 in 5 innings to move to 2-0 on the season. Lady Owls will be back in action tonight with a double header against Leslie County. #alwaysanowl #ladyowlssoftball
The GEAR UP Student Leadership Team spent time with our 7th graders on Tuesday, teaching them about The 7 Habits from Leader In Me. Students had the opportunity to pledge how they can perform each habit.

The OCHS Student Leadership Team met with fellow Eastern KY student leaders at the 2022 GEAR UP Student Leadership Conference in London yesterday. Our students were excited to bring back and share all they had learned from Greg and the SEEDS program with Owsley County Schools.

Owsley Chess Team played at Jackson City this past Saturday. They placed 3/6 and will prepare for state competition next month.
OCHS Prom is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 6:30-10:30 pm in the OCHS Cafeteria. More details to follow as we get closer to the date.
