On Monday, a group of OCHS students traveled with GEAR UP to visit Somerset Community College's technical campus in London, KY before heading on down the road to the Somerset Lineman Tech Center. Some were ready to apply to the program that very day!

After seeing the student interest in this program, we will definitely be making a trip back in  a couple years.

Owsley County Theater won 2nd place at EKDAS today! EKDAS stands for Eastern KY Dramatic Arts Society. We went up against 7 other awesome schools! Other awards we received are: Best Newcomer, Best Live Accompaniment to The Rookies, Best Supporting Actor to Erin Napier, and 2 students on the All-Mountain Cast: Callie Smallwood and Ethan Sebastian! Super proud of these and all the support crew we have! Owsley Proud!!!
