Tonight, at Alice Lloyd College Addison Terry and Carly Smith will be representing the Owsley County High School Lady Owls in the Hometown Sports Corner Annual All-Star Game.

OCHS junior, Lily Patrick, has been chosen by GEAR UP to represent OCHS and the state of KY at the National Youth Leadership Conference in San Francisco, CA in July. We are very proud of Lily and we are excited for her to receive this great opportunity. Congratulations, Lily!

Inviting all OCMS/HS parents/caregivers to our "Year in Review" event on April 17th from 5-7 pm at OCHS. Our students will lead all demonstrations. See attached flyer for more information. We hope to see you there. In the meantime, have a wonderful Spring Break and Easter!

Congratulations Lady Owls Softball on a 11-0 win last night over Richmond Model. Owls received strong performances from Tori Gilbert throwing her second consecutive shutout. On offense Owls received 3 RBIs from Addison Terry and lead off hitter Adrianna Halsey scored 3 runs.

Today, OCHS students in our Senior Leadership class enjoyed a trip to London, KY and a first-class meal and service at Local Honey-a perfect follow-up to their etiquette class yesterday. A great experience for our seniors!

Lady Owls came away with a win tonight against Buckhorn behind a dominating pitching performance by Junior, Tori Gilbert. Tori threw a No Hitter and shutout to secure the win for the Lady Owls!!!

Owsley County High School hosted its annual college and career fair on Wednesday as part of the activities for Operation Preparation. We had 10 representatives from colleges/universities/technical schools/military and 34 professionals in attendance. Students in grades 6-12 participated in the fair. OCHS is very appreciative of everyone that donated their time and expertise for our students.

Owsley County High School participated in Operation Preparation this week. This is a week in March focused on career exploration. On Monday, Joplin Rice from KHEAA spoke to 8th and 10th graders about being successful in high school, GPA, KEES scholarship money, and career choices.

The Owls were victorious tonight with a 9-0 win over the Lee County Bobcats. Freshman pitcher, Dylan Gay, delivered a commanding performance on the mound with a no-hitter and shutout. The Owls move to 3-0 on the season and will play tomorrow evening against Jackson City at 6:00.
