OCMHS teachers have made some innovative changes to their instructional practices this year with the goal to create more differentiated learning opportunities and tier II support in their classrooms.  Mrs. Hall has created student groups where student leaders who are demonstrating standards mastery are leading instruction among their group peers while she leads her “Teacher Table”, allowing her to clear up content misconceptions for students.  Using assessment data, Mrs. Campbell and Mrs. Thomas have initiated “Take 2” station activities allowing student leaders who have demonstrated mastery to assist in providing reteaching/enrichment to groups.  The goal is for each student receive the tier II support or differentiated challenge they need in order to be successful!
