Welcome!

Thank you for visiting the Owsley County High School webpage.  Owsley County High School is located in southeast Kentucky in the town of Booneville.  The school serves students in grades seven through 12 and is the county's only high school.  The school exists for the benefit of all students in Owsley County!  We believe education must provide each child with the necessary skills to fulfill their goals in becoming happy, useful, contributing members of society.  Owsley County High School has had great growth the past few years and is now one of the leaders in Eastern Kentucky.  The faculty and staff of Owsley County High School strive to ensure that every student receives a high quality education and is prepared to enter college or the workforce upon graduation.  Our goal is to make excellence a tradition.
